Upper Midwest Digital Creators and Curators Google Group

Do you work on digital projects at your library? Consider joining the new Upper Midwest Digital Creators and Curators Google Group!  This group is open to all digital content creators, curators, and managers working in libraries, archives, museums, and historical societies in the Upper Midwest. It’s a place to discuss ideas, tips, news, and training opportunities regarding digital collection development, digital content management, digital preservation, and related issues.

If you have never used Google Groups before, the functionality is not all that different from a listserv . You can still use your email to read and reply to messages, or you can visit the Google Group webpage to view messages (NOTE: you need a Gmail email address to be able to reply to or post messages via the web interface, or to manage any notification preferences).

The group is moderated by staff from Minitex (Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota) and WiLS (Wisconsin). To join the group, head to groups.google.com/group/umwdigital and choose “Apply to join group” or contact Sara Ring, Minitex () or Emily Pfotenhauer, WiLS () to request an invitation.
