Coming Soon: SIPX from ProQuest

proquest_logoWiLS is happy to announce that we’ll soon be offering ProQuest’s new digital course materials platform SIPX to our academic members.

ProQuest SIPX is a new technology for managing and sharing digital course materials with proven savings benefits to academic institutions and their students, and flexible engagement models geared to specific campus needs. Whether it’s library course reserves where the library can now save by offering pay-per-user access on copyright-paid course materials and drastically cutting down manual processing time for busy staff, or it’s helping instructors and bookstore staff save students money by ensuring that they benefit from existing library subscriptions in an easy, faculty-friendly way — across all models, SIPX provides value and gives the library, faculty and administration insight into spending and usage of course materials across campus. Read about the University of Notre Dame and Pepperdine University use with SIPX.

Member discounts will be available on both the setup fee and annual access fees. Watch this space for an official announcement once all aspects of the deal are finalized!
