WiLSWorld Shorts: Data Visualization in Excel 101

Oh no! This event has already occurred, but you can watch the recording on WiLS’ YouTube channel. If you have any questions about this or any other WiLSWorld Short, contact us at .
Do you have any spreadsheets of numbers – usage numbers, demographic data, or essentially anything living in Excel – languishing on your computer that you don’t know what to do with?
On Friday, December 11th at 1:00 pm, join WiLS’ own data analyst, Kim Kiesewetter, as she takes you on an interactive journey from giant Excel spreadsheet to simple data analysis and visualization, in less than an hour!
Kim will cover the basics of filtering and sorting data in Excel before guiding you to create simple pivot tables and charts you can use for everything from performing simple data quality checks to preparing for a presentation. Bring your own data or play along with DPI’s Public Library Service Data.
