March 2019 Taco Tuesday: Potluck Edition on Digital Content in K12 Libraries
Taco (Talking About Co-op Opportunities) Tuesdays are free and virtual webinars held on the first Tuesday of the month, beginning at 11:30 am, to showcase WiLS’ vendor partners and their products. On odd-numbered months, we host Taco Tuesday Potlucks! Like any good potluck, the fare will be provided by the attendees. Every other month, we’ll host a webinar on a cooperative purchasing topic chosen by WiLS members with presenters from member libraries. Join us to share your expertise and to learn from each other. See below for upcoming topics and instructions on how to participate!
This month’s Potluck, on March 5th at 11:30 am, focuses on digital content for K12 libraries. Ebooks and digital audiobooks are becoming increasingly commonplace in schools across Wisconsin. Making an investment in ebooks is just the first step in building a robust digital library. Figuring out where digital books fit in the lifecycle of learning is something we are all curious about. We hope you will join us for a Share & Tell session about how you and other media specialists are integrating ebooks into your schools.
This webinar will be recorded and shared.
