“White Rose Movement” Exhibit Debuts at Marathon County Library Downtown Branch
The White Rose was a small, non-violent Nazi resistance group formed in 1942 by University of Munich students in Germany that spearheaded a nine-month anonymous leaflet and graffiti campaign calling for active opposition to Adolf Hitler’s regime. And now through January 24th, the Marathon County Library Downtown branch is hosting an exhibit about the group, one of the first places to see it.
