Potential New Vendor Partner: IGI Global

IGI Global has reached out to WiLS as a potential new vendor-partner. WiLS’ process for evaluating potential new partners includes a period of evaluating member interest. That’s where you come in!

IGI is proposing an EBA model whereby member libraries have sixty days’ access to all IGI e-books and e-journals. At the end of the period, each participating members will select which content they’d like to keep going forward based on usage, local needs or any other criteria.

So, if you’re an academic library, please take a few moments and have a look at IGI Global’s resources. Think about whether the content being offered is something that your institution would be interested in purchasing or subscribing to. Then, take our brief survey to help us gauge our members’ interest in the vendor. WiLS requires at least three members to show genuine interest in a new vendor in order to proceed. The survey will close on July 18th, 2019.
