Overview
Over 50% of secondary students struggle with research and aren’t ready for college level writing. We’re changing that! Scrible Edu is the most advanced research/writing platform ever built. It lets students curate, annotate, manage and collaborate on articles online. It supports writing with citation capture, bibliography and outline editors and Google Docs and Microsoft Word integration. Students use powerful tools to scaffold and organize their work. Educators get real-time access to student work and progress monitoring that enables timely instructional feedback and support. Scrible is partnered and integrated with Google, Microsoft, Canvas, ClassLink and Clever. 

Remote/Hybrid Support
Scrible fills a gap for remote and hybrid instruction during the coronavirus pandemic. The research and writing process historically involves face-to-face check-ins between educators and students during class time, office hours or scheduled meetings. Educators would meet with students to review and provide feedback on their research (e.g. articles, annotations, citations) and writing (e.g. outlines, drafts, bibliographies). The pandemic complicates that. Fortunately, Scrible centralizes all such student work in the cloud and makes it available to educators from anywhere. They can access student work remotely to formatively assess it and provide feedback asynchronously, thereby eliminating the need for in-person discussion. So, Scrible helps schools continue vital research and writing instruction despite COVID-19 disruption. As a result, Scrible is an eligible expense for ESSER Funds under the CARES Act.
