Glitch with OverDrive and Amazon ‘Buy Now with 1-Click’ Function – Resolved

Update:  This issue has been resolved, and Kindle books have been restored to the Digital Library.

OverDrive has informed us that some Kindle users may be prompted to ’Buy now with 1-Click’ when attempting to download a Kindle book from the WI Digital Library, rather than being taken to a page to redeem their checked out eBook title. Unless the user wants to buy the title, they should not click this option.

OverDrive is working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible, and we will send an update when we have further information.

A message has been posted by OverDrive directly on the WI Digital Library site as well.
