Big Savings on Article Galaxy Scholar from Reprints Desk

For the last 6 years, Reprints Desk has been the provider of choice for consortium members for uninterrupted access to scholarly journal articles and book chapters, especially for occasions when libraries do not have an existing subscription or when time to deliver is a factor.

We had a chance to preview their new platform, Article Galaxy Scholar, and liked what we saw—an innovative, cost-effective and time-saving new solution that combines continuity of access, flexible and personalized workflows and data-driven usage insights.

Currently in limited release, WiLS members can avail themselves of a preferred consortium rate, and waived implementation fee if signed up by April 1, 2022. See attached proposal for more details.

If you weren’t able to attend the WiLS webinar on March 17th, you can view it on-demand.

Also, check out another video about the product.

Here a few words from users who’ve used the platform:

“UCSD Library is excited to offer a clean, simple, and improved service to our patrons. Because it is unmediated, AGS is actually relieving some staff time so we are able to focus on other work”
— Judea D’Arnaud, UC San Diego Library

AGS “more closely aligns the work of collection development with the work of interlibrary loan/document delivery.”
— Wil Weston, San Diego State University
