Planning Support and Services

JigsawAbout WiLS’ Planning Support and Services

In today’s library, funding resources are limited, but the opportunities to serve your community are great.  If you have a planning project, WiLS can help you identify planning goals and develop a process customized for your library, community, and budget.

Library planning is an ongoing business activity necessary for your library to thrive and deliver the best services that you can to your community.  WiLS works closely with you to employ the right tools to create your strategic plan, whether that’s library data analytics, surveys, studies, or community engagement through facilitated conversations.  If we don’t have the expertise you need, we will help you get through our network of consultants in WiLS Experts Connection.

Once a plan is created, the work of implementing it begins.  Working with WiLS, you will be given the tools to continue your library’s engagement with the community and to continue to assess and develop services in the following areas:

Building Needs Assessment
Collection and Resource Development
Community Engagement
Data and Business Analytics
Library Management

New Service Development
Process and Workflow Management
Programming
Staff Development
Technology Planning
